Environment variables

VariableEffect
SENDPORT_KEYAPI key. Takes precedence over the config file.
SENDPORT_PROFILEProfile to use when --profile is absent.
SENDPORT_API_URLOverride the base URL. For self-hosted proxies.
SENDPORT_CONFIGPath to the config file. Default ~/.sendport/config.toml.
NO_COLORAny value disables ANSI colour.

Exit codes

CodeMeaning
0Success
1Generic failure
2Bad usage — unknown flag, missing argument
3Not authenticated, or the key was revoked
4API returned 4xx
5API returned 5xx, or the network failed
6Rate limited after exhausting retries

Scripting

Pass --json and parse with jq. Exit codes are stable across releases, so set -e behaves predictably in CI.
